Update 6/2024 - Phase 1
Accomplishments in 06/2024
The team at Redacted Hosting has been hard at work this month, and we are excited to share the progress we've made:
Finalizing Our Secure Application Suite
We have successfully finalized our secure application suite, ensuring that our users have access to a robust and secure set of tools.
Customer Onboarding
We have started the customer onboarding process for our new users, providing them with a seamless experience as they begin to create on our services.
Quality of Life Improvements
Our team has focused on ironing out quality-of-life issues, enhancing the overall user experience. We are confident in the product we are delivering and believe it will meet our users' needs effectively.
Remote Desktop Application
We have completed the remote desktop application, allowing our customers and instructors to connect easily to their developer desktops, servers, and applications.
Wiki Documentation Application
Phase one of our wiki documentation application is complete. Although it is still in development and has not yet begun testing, we are working on SSL/TLS security implementation before showing it to our users.
We are aiming to complete the Wiki in the next month so that users can begin to seed the repository and knowledge share.
Goals for 07/2024
Looking ahead to 07/2024, we have several ambitious goals:
Wiki Application Launch
We aim to launch the wiki application for our users. This will allow users to start populating this documentation repository for knowledge transfer, tutorials, and much more. This will be a great enabler to our RH community and cadre by providing a centralized wiki repository that can aid users of a multitude of services, such as instructors aiming to develop a new course on our learning management system, students looking to develop their digital skillset, and everything in between.
Refinement of Remote Desktop Application
We plan to refine and resolve any issues that may arise with our users regarding the remote desktop application and developer desktops.
Learning Management System Redesign
We will begin the initial planning for the redesign of the RH Learning Management System. Currently, we use a Moodle-based system, but we are researching a migration to Canvas to provide a more user-friendly experience for our students and cadre. This involves evaluating the latest and greatest learning management systems to ensure we offer the best platform possible.
